Head Muay Thai Instructor
William Florence, has devoted over 30 years to the path of martial arts. Trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Ninjutsu, traditional boxing, and kickboxing, he has become a complete martial artist and a respected mentor.
For 12 years, he served as the Head Martial Arts Master at Arlington MMA and Absolute Fitness, where he trained both amateur and professional fighters, molding them into disciplined competitors and strong leaders.
His teaching goes beyond strikes and submissions. William believes, “A warrior’s first opponent is always himself.” He reminds his students that strength without control is chaos, and discipline without heart is empty. His approach balances old-school toughness with modern fight science, building athletes who are as sharp mentally as they are physically.
Students under his guidance learn not only how to fight, but how to live. He often says: “What you know can be dangerous to others, but what you think you know can be dangerous to yourself.”
At P1 Elite, William’s mission is clear: to shape warriors who carry their lessons from the mat into every area of life, strong in body, focused in mind, and unshakable in spirit.

“Coaches keep it real—technical, patient, and friendly. I’ve never felt lost, just challenged the right way. My cardio’s up, stress is down, and the crew genuinely supports growth.”

“From day one, the vibe was welcoming and focused. Clear instruction, smart drilling, and respectful rounds. My confidence grew fast, and the culture made consistency feel natural.”

“Exactly what I wanted: safe training, honest feedback, and real progress. Classes flow smoothly, partners are kind, and every week I leave better calmer, and hungry to learn more.”
